Here are the exciting ways you can get involved:

☕ Café & Hospitality – Love interacting with people? Help keep our visitors fueled and refreshed by assisting in the museum café. From serving snacks to creating a welcoming environment, your role will enhance the guest experience.

 

🛠 General Labor & Groundskeeping – Keep the museum looking its best by helping with landscaping, facility upkeep, and general maintenance. Whether it’s painting, light repairs, or beautifying the grounds, your work ensures a clean and enjoyable space for all.

 

🔧 Trade Experience & Restoration – If you have skills in carpentry, mechanics, electrical work, or other trades, your expertise can help maintain and restore our historic railcars, locomotives, and museum structures. Get hands-on with history!

 

📸 Marketing & Photography – Capture the magic of the museum through photography, videography, and social media content, or help spread the word through marketing and promotions. Your creativity will help us reach new audiences.

 

🚂 Train Crew – For those with a passion for railroading, volunteer to assist with train operations! Opportunities may include working as a conductor, engineer assistant, or helping with event train rides (training provided).

 

🎤 Tour Guide & Guest Engagement – Share the fascinating history of railroads by leading tours and interacting with visitors. If you love storytelling and engaging with people, this is a great way to educate and inspire.
