At the Gold Coast Railroad Museum, our staff wears a lot of hats—sometimes literally. From curating historic equipment to coordinating events, managing volunteers, running the trains, and everything in between, this small team keeps 56 acres of Miami railroad history running.

We’re a lean crew with a big mission: preserve Florida’s rail legacy and bring it to life for future generations.

Executive Director

David

Bringing expertise in marketing, business development, AI innovation, and project management. Passionate about railroad history and safety, he is leading efforts to reestablish GCRM as a premier Miami attraction.

Dedicated to revitalization, David focuses on expanding exhibits, increasing visibility, and enhancing visitor engagement through strategic marketing. He actively forges corporate partnerships, modernizes museum operations, and fosters innovation to elevate the experience.

Beyond operations, he plays a key role in organizing the board and setting a clear vision for the future. Committed to preserving South Florida’s railroad legacy and raising awareness on rail safety, David is honored to contribute to GCRM’s mission of education and inspiration.

Donovan

Donovan's love for trains runs deep, and he's channeled that passion into becoming the jack-of-all-trades at the railroad museum. You can find him doing a little bit of everything—from meticulously restoring a locomotive's intricate controls to making sure the museum's grounds are cared for. He’s often the friendly face answering questions, sharing stories, and making sure every visitor has a great time. For Donovan, it’s not just about preserving history; it’s about making sure it comes to life for everyone who walks through the doors.
