TAKE A RIDE ON A TRAIN!

At the Gold Coast Railroad Museum history comes alive. The Gold Coast Railroad museum does not just have static displays of railcars and locomotives but operating ones as well! We proudly offer Link train rides, Standard Gauge train rides, Cab Rides and Speeder rides. To make sure that you get to interact with history in such a unique way we highly encourage calling ahead or checking our Events Page to ensure these experiences are available!

Link Train

There are many different trains out there and our Link train is a one of a kind 2 foot narrow gauge locomotive. If weather permits, our 'Link' ride is available on weekdays at 12 PM, 1:30 PM, and 3 PM and weekends (Saturdays & Sundays at the top of every hour 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM. It is a 10-minute ride that goes around the back-side of our property, and offers a view of our rail yard.

The ride is $10.00 per person.

Standard Gauge

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride in an actual train or historical rail cars? Our Standard Gauge Coach rides operate on the First Saturday of the Month! Enjoy a 25-minute excursion around our whole property. Relax in our passenger car or caboose for this unforgettable experience

Standard Gauge Coach Ride: $15.00 per person on every first Saturday of the month at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM.

Standard Gauge Cab Rides

For those that have wondered what it feels and sounds like to sit in the cab of a locomotive we offer Cab Rides. Join our engineer for a 25 minute ride where you will be sitting right along side him getting to experience what it is like to drive an actual train!

Cab Ride: $20.00 per person. Cab rides are available on Saturdays at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM.

Speeder Rides

For those that love thrills or have ever wondered what it feels to fly down the tracks just feet from them we have our railroad speeder. The speeder runs every Saturday. Enjoy a 20 minute ride on the same route as our standard gauge excursion.

Speeder rides are $10.00 per person and are available on Saturdays 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM.
